I once lived with my good friend, Aki, and when I occasionally was in a bad mood and felt uncomfortable with myself, she began quite soberly to list my best qualities. It seemed artificial but it worked nonetheless – I felt really good about myself again.
Based on that experience, I wanted to extend this approach and involve more people from all areas of my life. How good can I feel about myself based on others opinions? This study resulted in the 9 min long video work ‘Naja’.
